That's why I take a methodical approach — from checking floor levels and plumbing positions before a single unit goes in, to making sure every door, drawer and worktop joint is exactly where it should be.


My background in precision engineering means I'm not satisfied with "close enough". Every kitchen I fit is given the same level of care and scrutiny I'd apply to my own home.

Opening up a kitchen space or extending into a garden often requires structural work. I manage the whole project, from RSJ installation and structural alterations through to the full kitchen fit and decoration.

Do you supply kitchen units and appliances?
I don't supply kitchen units or appliances directly, but I'm happy to advise on ranges, suppliers and specifications that suit your project. I work with whatever kitchen you've chosen — retailer-supplied, custom or bespoke — and make sure it's fitted to the highest standard.

How long does a kitchen installation take?
A straightforward like-for-like kitchen replacement might take 5–7 days. A full renovation involving plumbing alterations, electrical work, tiling and plastering is typically 2–4 weeks. Projects involving structural work or extensions will take longer. I'll give you a realistic timescale at the quotation stage.

Yes. I can offer practical advice on layouts, workflow, storage and ways to make the most of your available space. While I'm not an interior designer, 30+ years of kitchen installations means I know what works in practice. Many kitchen retailers also offer free design services that I'm happy to work alongside.

Yes. I work alongside trusted local plumbers and electricians who I've built relationships with over many years. I manage and coordinate all trades, so you have one point of contact rather than having to organise multiple contractors yourself.

Can you knock through a wall for an open-plan kitchen?
Yes. I carry out structural alterations including wall removals and RSJ installation as part of kitchen renovation projects. Any structural work will be assessed properly first to ensure the right approach is taken — I'll advise whether a structural engineer's report is required for your specific project.
