How long does fresh plaster take to dry?
Freshly skimmed plaster typically takes between 3 to 5 days to dry entirely, depending on the room temperature, ventilation, and thickness of the plaster. It must turn a uniform light pink colour before any paint (including the mist coat) can be applied.

Can you plaster over old Artex ceilings?
Yes, in most cases we can scrape back the high points of the Artex and apply a fresh skim coat to achieve a perfectly smooth, modern ceiling. (Please note, older Artex may need testing for asbestos before it can be disturbed, which we can advise you on).

Do I need to clear the room completely?
We kindly ask that rooms are cleared of smaller items, electronics, and breakables as much as possible to give us clear access. However, we are happy to assist in moving heavy furniture to the center of the room, where we will thoroughly protect it with dust sheets.

Do you supply the paint, or do I need to buy it?
We are highly flexible. We can source and supply high-quality trade paints on your behalf, which often provide superior coverage and durability. Alternatively, if you have already chosen and purchased specific designer brands or colours, we are more than happy to work with those.

Do you undertake exterior rendering and painting?
Yes. As well as interior finishes, we carry out exterior sand and cement rendering, patching, and weather-resistant masonry painting to protect your property from the elements and vastly improve its kerb appeal.
